While the Ozone Action Days "season" focuses on ozone forecasts from May through September, Metroplan continues to provide daily reports on air quality throughout the year. The daily reports are linked to the ADEQ Daily Ozone Forecast, a measure of our region's overall air quality that identifies the most significant air pollutant for the day.

While the focus of Ozone Action Days effort is to alert the public to the region's primary pollutant - ground level ozone - from May through September, other variables can impact air quality and the ADEQ Daily Ozone Forecast at any time of the year.
