
As the Sustainable Transportation and Energy Ambassador, Brittany is leading technical assistance for projects funded through the EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG). She supports Metroplan member initiatives in energy efficiency, electric vehicle adoption, and land restoration across Central Arkansas. Before joining Metroplan full-time, she served as a contract Sustainability Analyst and co-authored the Central Arkansas Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory, contributed to the Priority Climate Action Plan, and helped to secure the EPA’s $99.9 million CPRG implementation award to Metroplan. Her earlier work as Sustainability Educator for the City of Little Rock included advancing the City’s 4.9 MW solar array, organizing the 2023 Urban Heat Island Study, and completing the City’s first Operational GHG Inventory.
With over 15 years of experience in communications and project management, Brittany is dedicated to bridging technical expertise with public understanding and practical implementation. A native of Newton County, Arkansas, she brings a passion for resilient, nature-based solutions to her work. Brittany resides in Downtown Little Rock with her daughter Nichola.
