Recycling and composting are both great ways to recover materials that have already been created and make them into something new, saving energy, money and time. Compost can then be used as fertilizer at local farms and gardens, improving soil health and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers that may pose health risks.
How could recycling work better for your community? Are people interested in composting programs where you live?
