Central Arkansas Energy and Environment Innovation Comprehensive Action Plan

As part of its $440,000 EEI planning contract with the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, Metroplan published a Central Arkansas regional supplement to the statewide EEI Comprehensive Action Plan (CAP). The CAP provides emissions reduction analysis and implementation details for five greenhouse gas reduction measures that are well-suited for Central Arkansas and were highlighted through public and stakeholder outreach.

Central Arkansas’ EEI CAP was adopted by the Metroplan Board of Directors on July 23, 2025, and submitted to the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment on August 1, 2025.
